The Adirondack Love Shack

No additional fees! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream in quaint, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 10x12, with a queen size bed, dresser, a mini-fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch, TV and heat/fan. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting by the fire. Please bring your own linens for the queen size bed and towels. Blankets for inside use provided. The shower/toilet are shared

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Wrapped in windows, the cabin offers panoramic lake views and frequent wildlife sightings. Enjoy outstanding kayaking with easy access from your private boathouse. IMPORTANT: our amazing housekeeper is available Monday and Friday only. So, we can offer Mon-Fri, Fri-Mon, Mon-Mon or Fri-Fri stays. It is also located right off the snowmobile trails/cross country ski trails in Gabriels, NY. It is fully equipped with everything you may need. Perfect place for a home base while you go on your very own Adirondack adventure. The VIC center is close by, fishing, lots of hiking and paddling… 10 minutes from Saranac Lake 30 minutes from Lake Placid

AuSable Brewery is just across the road, and Lake Champlain is just 1 mile away. Excellent local cycling, paddling, hiking, & boating abound.

The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water.
