The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Off the Grid, No Wifi, No electricity, well water, propane lights, wood stove for heat. You can't get more "Remote" without hiring a float plane, a water taxi, or walking for 2 hours! But we're just moments from the Seward Highway. Guests have access to the wood fired lakefront sauna and hot tub. Pet friendly.

Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
