Walking/running/cycling/trails/hills/scenery/fishing/lochs and rivers/castles/road biking/mountain biking/ just relaxing!/amazing food and drink! Old Mains Cottage is a traditional character dwelling that has been extensively modernised. Originally it was the laundry of the mansion house that once stood in the adjacent woods. The cottage stands in its own private grounds & is accessed via a private road. There are two dedicated parking spaces at the front of the property. This self-contained house is bright and welcoming, has an open plan living area, log burning fire, garden space and free Wifi. Hill walk, wild-swim or mountain bike straight from the door. We offer a bike wash station and secure lock up for your bikes. Play golf or visit our local distilleries. Discover Royal Deeside's rich history. What ever you plan for your break, come back and relax at 2 1/2.

Luxury caravan in family friendly holiday caravan park, offering stunning views, two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bath! Our caravan is situated within the Haughton Country Park with plenty walks and near by playparks. It is 1 mile walk to the centre of Alford village with plenty available shops and take-aways. An ideal location for exploring upper Donside, Deeside, Whisky trails, Castle trails and ancient monuments nearby. Please note this is a holiday let only not for work stay.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

"This 1 bed cottage is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ballater, Royal Deeside. It has just been newly renovated making it a bit of luxury for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and place to hide the suitcases, drawers and a T. V. A Z bed and a travel cot are available on request when booking. It has a wood burner and a Scottish theme throughout. We have aimed to make this a cosy and comfortable getaway for you to enjoy.

Royal Deeside 1 Bedroom self-contained 'Bothy'

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.
