Only a five minute walk into Appledore village with its wonderful cafes, boutique shops and restaurants. Up to 3 (well behaved!) dogs are welcome at no extra charge.

A traditional mariner's cottage, situated 50 metres from the Quay in the heart of Appledore, close to several popular pubs and restaurants. The cottage has been fully modernised and combines traditional character with modern facilities. Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore.
