We have Farm animals to meet, many Distillery’s, local attractions, restaurants, pubs & shops all a short drive away, perfect for quiet getaway & exploring the beautiful area with its countryside, beaches & mountains, suitable for a couple/friends sharing/couple with baby.

This area is a wildlife haven and there is a very good chance you will spot red squirrels coming to feed on the bird table outside Lovely view of the woods and gorgeous sunsets. The Castle Byre

The 'Byre' is a luxury self catering cottage within a former barn at historic Parkhead Farm. It sits just 200m from the ruins of Auchindoun Castle and has unsurpassed views to the castle on the hill. Being of contemporary open plan design, it retains the traditional look of the original barn interior with large exposed roof trusses and natural stonework. A comfortable cottage offering a cosy sitting room with fireplace, Austrian Style dining corner and a fully equipped kitchen.Hot tub is there for you to relax and for private use. The bathroom with toilet is located downstairs, shower and separate bath. There is a surcharge of GBP 8 p.d. per pet (max of 2 pet). Upstairs are two bedrooms. Laundry service is available upon request if you stay longer than 5 nights.
