A unique chance to stay at what can only be described as one of the more beautiful locations in the Scottish Highlands. A stone's throw from the crystal clear waters of Loch Carron. Our quaint 160 year old fisherman's cottage, coupled with its incredible seaside location makes for a perfect relaxing and romantic getaway. A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

You will always get a warm welcome in this cosy timber forestry house. Bedroom areas are light and fresh with a separate dining/sitting room where you can relax with a book or a dvd. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen and also an additional enclosed /sheltered area which can be used for relaxing and dining too. Achmore village is 7 miles from Eilean Donan Castle and Plockton, and 15 miles from the Isle of Skye.

Loch Long Pod

Our cosy wigwams are situated in the beautiful village of Dornie. They are perfect for anyone who wishes a restful break or an adventurous getaway. Everything you need is contained in the wigwam, including a bathroom (with shower) and a small kitchenette. The Wigwams act as a perfect base to explore Eilean Donan Castle, The Five Sisters of Kintail, The Isle of Skye and beyond.
