Sitting traditionally among sheep above Loch Awe, couples, writers, photographers, bird watchers, hill walkers, swimmers wishing to get away can do so here. Relax by the woodburning stove, put the whistling kettle on for a cup of tea, watch the birds or walk into the hills behind or down to the lochside to wild swim, fish or make a bbq. The hut is nestled under a canopy of Cedar and Larch down on the riverbank in a peaceful corner of our estate. This lovingly hand-crafted space has been finished to the highest of standards to ensure a perfect base to welcome you home after a day of exploring our incredible Island. With walking trails beginning at the front door and lots of amenities nearby this is an absolutely wonderful retreat for 2. We're unable to accept pets in this hut but they are welcome in our Rustic Hut.

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.
