Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Experience the beautiful Perth Hills in one of the original cottages in the area, built in 1906. We have Horses, chickens and our beautiful dogs on our stunning 7.5 acres of land. There is a large dam on the property, which brings with it a huge range of wildlife, and kangaroos in the top paddock with sunset views to Fremantle. Only a few minutes to the shops and trainline to the city, 30 minutes to the airport and 40 minutes to the city.

Escape to our cozy studio, a quiet hideaway set among the hills. Accessed via a gravel road, you will be surrounded by native trees and wildlife. With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

Come visit the beautiful green Hills of Perth. While you are only 30 minutes from Perth CBD and 20 minutes from the airport, you will feel like you are far away from home. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.
