Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

House of 450 sqm completely restored by the owners. The ground floor of 240 sqm includes; The kitchen, two dining rooms and two large living rooms with large windows overlooking the garden. The first floor of 210 sqm includes 4 suites, all with private bathroom, so subdivided; 1 suite of 60 sqm, 2 suites of 45 sqm with mezzanine, 1 room of 30 sqm. The property is surrounded by a 10,000 sqm garden with olive trees and fruit trees and a swimming pool (14x7 m) for the exclusive use of the guests.

An old tower house in the heart of Pisa. A fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with espresso machine and kettle. The interiors blends wooden beams, steel and glass with a swinging hammock, designer lamps, a turntable and an extensive library of art and illustration books. The bedroom is accessed via an internal staircase, while the apartment is located in the attic (3rd floor) of a historic building: the staircase is a bit steep, so unfortunately it may not be comfortable for everyone.

Dista 10 minuti da Pisa, 20 da Lucca , 1 ora da Firenze e 20 minuti dalle spiagge della costa Tirrenica.

L'appartamento è parte di una casa colonica tipica delle campagne toscane ed è formato da una stanza da letto matrimoniale, un soggiorno, un bagno e una piccola cucina. All'esterno troviamo la piscina e un vasto giardino con parcheggio privato dal quale è possibile ammirare il castello e i parapendii in volo. L'ingresso è indipendente.

Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. OLIVETA is part of this place.
