The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

This central air-conditioned lakefront ranch offers stunning views of Kassuba Lake. The home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom has a king bed; the second bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds. The open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area is bathed in natural light thanks to large windows. This cozy yet spacious cabin in the woods offers 20 private acres. Close to golf, Otsego lake state park, canoe and kayak on three different rivers, downtown Gaylord and shopping. ORV and snowmobile trails from the property to main state maintained trails. Small spring fed swimming lake located within the association neighborhood. With grills and sandy beach area. Close vicinity to many small towns with local bars and restaurants, some are accessible by orv right from the house.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
