The home is in a unique and desirable location and offers easy access to village life and the beach from a quiet residential neighborhood. Vintage beach cottage w/ modern-day conveniences (central heat & A/C), Apple TV, DVD, vintage appliances, incl. dishwasher) on the quiet-end of Balboa Island; tree-lined street, steps to beaches on South Bayfront; 2 blocks to Balboa Island ferry and Island Market. Cottage was built in 1923 and served as a "Speak Easy" (a bar during the prohibition era ) with many famous actors, musicians, singers patronizing the site (John Wayne, James Cagney & Humphrey Bogart) just to name a few.

Casita: Private, Deck/Garden, 8 Min. to Beach!

We support BLM & the LGBTQ+ Community Our Casita is a PRIVATE space w/ an outdoor deck/yard, complete with an old ash tree for shade, comfy chaise lounges, a table/chairs and wood-burning chiminea. Its yard is separated from our yard by a 4-ft. fence, and feels very private. We have two dogs on our property, but they don’t have access to the guest space. :)
