This peaceful and private apartment comprises of the whole lower ground floor of a Georgian mansion house just off the A82 set in an incredible nine acre woodland garden with a riverside walk up to a beautiful loch. There is a spacious living room with wood burner and large kitchen with aga cooker and dining. The bathroom features a double ended bath and shower. Glasgow City centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond are within 15-20 minute drive from the house which has private, secure parking.

Historic Lochside Woodside Tower

Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Self-contained private annex with lounge/small food prep area and separate bedroom, en suite/electric shower and storage cupboard. Lounge has a 43” 4K Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Ethernet and WiFi. There are complimentary tea/coffee/snacks. (Nespresso machine/milk frother) fridge, microwave, portable hob and kettle. Continental breakfast is included in the apartment on arrival. Private entrance/keylock/ garden/patio. For longer stays clothes washing/drying by arrangement.

One-bed flat with a lovely park view

Our one bed flat is in the centre of the village of Balloch, Loch Lomond, known as the gateway to the north. Both the train station and bus station are only a few minutes walk away and nearby numerous walking, climbing and hiking trails. The cultural venues in the cities of Glasgow and Stirling are approximately 30-40 minutes by car. There is a free carpark across the road from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor above the shops, cafes and bars in the centre of the village.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

The Stable - Dumbain Farm

Accommodation is offered in the simple and stylish conversion of the farm outbuildings. Situated two minutes from Balloch in a quiet and peaceful location. A continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of teas.

"Elmbrook" studio room Helensburgh

Our self contained studio room was converted from a sound proofed music studio and has been freshly decorated. It is connected to our garage, is separate from our house and has its own entrance and on street parking. Double bed, En Suite, Sitting area ,kitchen and entrance area. We have added a window to the flat after feedback from our guests.
