Hillcot, A room with a view.

Hillcot was originally an old stone cottage which has been lovingly renovated to the highest standard. The cottage stands on an elevated spot with outstanding views in all directions. We are literally 5 mins walk from the ocean on a quiet lane, mainly used by locals. This is a pebble beach and a great place to observe the seals as they bask in the sun awaiting scraps from the nearby fisheries. Our garden is south facing, a relaxing area to enjoy some spectacular sunsets, weather permitting.

Nestled in the serene countryside of County Donegal, our cozy retreat offers a unique blend of history, nature and comfort. Inch Island is known for its stunning, peaceful nature and renowned bird watching. Our property dates back to the 1600s when it operated as a farm. Our basement library is a book lover’s dream, featuring an extensive collection of books both old and new. There are also board games and large collection of DVD´S with a TV in the bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

Margaret's Cabin – hot tub facing Mulroy Bay

A log cabin for two on a quiet smallholding above Mulroy Bay, named for Davey John's eldest daughter, Margaret. Chalet warmth with a darker, more textured palette: a heather feature wall, a navy velvet sofa, a McNutt of Donegal tweed headboard. The covered deck has a private hot tub that looks straight out across the bay. There's a hot-stone sauna kept just for our guests, and a games room across the courtyard. Features such as the bog oak roof, open turf fire, flagged stone floor and antique pine furniture create a timeless and relaxing atmosphere. Mary's cottage is featured on the stunning 'Wild Atlantic Way' and is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Urris Hills and beaches.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
