The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Couthie Cooshed in the Cairngorms

Lovely holiday cottage in the Cairngorms for two with open plan kitchen living area, cosy sleeping gallery, contemporary shower room and private patio. The Couthie Cooshed is cosy well appointed and is set in a private garden on the edge of fields. This barn is a wonderful place to relax and unwind in the country surrounded by fields and wildlife. Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

Antlers Cottage, Glenmuick Estate

Antlers Cottage is a cosy cottage in the heart of the Glenmuick estate. It provides a convenient and homely base from which to explore Royal Deeside. The cottage has two double/twin bedrooms with a Bathroom, Kitchen, Sitting Room and Dining Room. The Sitting Room has a welcoming open fire, WiFi and a Digital TV with DVD player. The property is heated throughout and all linen, towels and logs are provided.

Telford View luxury flat with balcony

Telford view is accessed through the top of garden at Bridge View B&B with its own off street parking. It is a spacious modern flat with all mod cons and open plan kitchen / sitting / dining area leading onto a balcony with views down to the river and Thomas Telford Bridge. It has a double bedroom with memory foam mattress and wet room next to bedroom The parking and flat are all on one level ( no steps)

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Almost like living in your own mini castle during your stay! There are amazing walks and wildlife on the estate too!

The East Wing, Craigdam

Welcome to our secluded stay between Tarves and Oldmeldrum. Cosy room with plenty of outside space to enjoy. the room has tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge. Also provided is continental breakfast. Although this is listed as a private room as it is part of our home, it is separate from the rest of the house with its own bathroom and front door.
