In especially cold weather there is a pull out sleeper with extra mattress provided for another comfy, warmer first floor sleeping space. Coin operated laundry next door down. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This building, built in 1832, was the sole building to survive the devastating fire of 1837. I wonder about those who have inhabited these walls over the past 190 years! Because the building is old it has a few quirks! The walls aren’t quite straight, the wood floors show where walls once stood or have moved. That’s why I call it Wabi Sabi…. The imperfections add to it’s beauty!
