Although, our newly built cabin is right off the main rd, you will feel secluded while relaxing on a full privacy back deck.Enjoying nothing but the scenery of the open woods while relaxing in the 5 person hot tub. Our cabin offers a spacious living/dining area with an open concept to the kitchen along with a covered front porch area for our guests to enjoy with friends and family. We are 5 minutes from Summersville Lake/ Gauley River.

Centrally located, it’s a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, WV’s 1st Mountain Coaster & PuttPutt at Brush Creek Falls, HMT, Pipestem, New and Bluestone Rivers. EV charging station 1/2 mile, Camp Creek. A couple’s get away, traveling for bus, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

Convenient to whitewater rafting, hiking, historical sites, national and state parks, great local restaurants and more!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 1800's, picturesque, log cabin is located just feet from the newest 'National Park'. The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Only 2/10's of a mile from The Endless Wall Trail, an easy 5-minute walk from the cabin. If you are an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, rock-climbing, white-water rafting, etc..., or just want to get away from the big city, you're not going to find a better place.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

This is the perfect place to enjoy relaxation or adventurous activities such as fishing, hiking, caving, white water rafting, and so much more! The chalet is conveniently located one mile from Summersville Lake (Battle Run Recreation Area), 22-miles from the New River Gorge National Park, and four miles from the Upper Gauley River rafting and kayaking put-in.
