Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

We are situated minutes from the centre of town which includes local amenities such as fish and chips , restaurants, ice cream shops, bakery, butcher , fish monger & supermarket. We are 3 minutes from the beautiful sandy beach with coastal walks, local golf course and the working harbour where you can have the choice of diving, fishing & boat trips.

Comfortable, quiet, harbour-front holiday apartment with spectacular views and accommodation for 4 (we can take 6 but send a message to us before booking if there are more than 4 in your party) on the edge of Seahouses. Views out to the Farne Islands where you can see countless sea birds - or stay put and watch the wildlife from the apartment. The Puffin Burrow is a lovely self-contained apartment on the ground floor of this magnificent Georgian House. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The modern bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and shower and there is another separate loo. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

This bright and airy penthouse apartment, set in the former Alnwick Brewery and Maltings, is my home and I’m delighted to share it with you as a base for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding countryside. Just a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Hulne Park, the flat has everything you need to self-cater, with a large supermarket conveniently located opposite. If you’d prefer to eat out, Alnwick’s many restaurants, cafés and pubs are only a few minutes’ walk away.
