The property has a ocean view garden with grassy lawn.

Old country cottage built in 1873 set in the small village of Melvich with amazing coastal views and breathtaking scenery. On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. This property has a private and enclosed garden with private parking. There is an open fire in the living room which would be set by the host. Dog friendly, max 2 dogs.

The cottage whilst boasting all modern amenities still keeps a lot of its original features.

Our house in Bettyhill is central for touring across the Highlands of Scotland. The area is full things to see and do including, fishing on the River Naver, walking, surfing and cycling, with castles and historic places around. In summer you can enjoy the long summer evenings with daylight until after 11pm The house is located on the far North Coast of Scotland and is an ideal stop off on the NC 500 route.

The cottage consists of a kitchen/ livingroom on the ground floor with a double bedroom and separate bathroom (shower only) up stairs. Access by spiral stairs. Wood burning stove in the living area (fuel supplied)
