Riverfront cottage 1-mile nature walk to downtown

A unique old-school cottage located right on the Bear River and Petoskey's newly developed Bear River park and trail. A one-mile meandering walk, over the river and through the woods will take you to downtown Petoskey and Lake Michigan. Along the riverwalk in the opposite direction is a skate park and running track. Also close to shopping plazas and a robust downtown shopping district. The house is dog friendly with a fenced in yard and has three porches to look out over the the river valley.

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. We have high speed WiFi but the cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

River access to fish and kayak. 6 miles to Ocqueoc Falls. 2 miles to Lake Huron. 5 close boat launches. Many lighthouses. Direct access to N. MI trail system for hiking/4 wheeling. Our beautiful cottage is right outside Cheboygan city limits set in a peaceful country backdrop. This cozy little space is the perfect retreat for you to explore everything Northern Michigan has to offer. As soon as you walk into our quiet little getaway, you will feel at home. Just a couple minutes from the cute shops and restaurants that line Cheboygans Main Street, and about 20 minutes from Mackinac City's famous fudge shops and the ferry docks for Mackinac Island.

Cozy Cottage on Five Lakes. Close to the expressway , snowmobile trails and downtown Gaylord. Fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, high speed internet and a smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows or just watch Netflix . Bring your kayaks and your fishing poles - nice deck to watch the sunset. Dogs are welcome for an additional one time fee of $35.00. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.

Come and relax at our cozy lakefront cabin located in the beautiful Lakes of the North neighborhood. Centrally located, just 15 minutes west of Gaylord, to explore all of Northern Michigan. Enjoy many outdoor activities including the numerous ATV trails, swimming, hiking, our neighborhood golf course (Deer Run) or just enjoy a bonfire on the cabin's 1.75 acres. The 5 acre lake is only steps away and there are 2 larger lakes in the neighborhood too.

Lakewood Cottage resides in a small, private association. The association resides along the shores of Lake Huron in Cheboygan County. Guests have access to 4 private association Lake Huron access points that also include some playground equipment for the littles! Surrounded by the tall Northern Michigan trees, this rustic cottage is the perfect location to get away and relax - you will definitely feel like you are "Up North" when you stay with us!
