Visit Cwm Rhaeadr Forest/Lyn Brianne Dam/Reservoir/Y Bannau Brycheiniog park & iconic Pen Y Fan.

Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

It dates from the sixteenth century and is a self-contained part of a larger property where the owner lives. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families & kids, and furry friends (Two well-behaved pets only).

The self-contained apartment with two bedrooms overlooks the meandering River Towy. Guests can enjoy the unspoilt views from their private garden and from the kitchen/living area inside. The luxurious hot tub is under cover and boasts a window which guests can admire the amazing stars through at night. Guests can walk to the river and picnic.

Table tennis is in the garden in the summer. The apartment really 'gives you a hug - or a 'cwtsch' as we say in Wales.
