The lake is excellent for Largemouth bass, Blue catfish, Freshwater drum, Channel catfish, Flathead catfish, Black crappie, White crappie and others. Fire pit in back yard along with grill to BBQ!

Escape to my woodland retreat, where the only hustle and bustle is the gentle rustling of leaves. You got 2 acres of land, fishing in the backyard, a swing to relax on & read or take a nap! Also, the WMA is walking distance away for all my hunters or nature lovers! You will love every minute being at this home! (I do have hot water). There is one room with a bedroom, and another bedroom with a big comfy lounge chair & projector (you can hookup HDMI to this or play dvds).

You can also enjoy a separate game room with a carpet ball table and table to play games with the kids and adults. The chalkboard is also a hit with adults and children.

The surrounding areas are full of public parks & boat launches. After a day on the lake, come relax in the living room or lay down on the super comfy beds! The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
