It was originally an outbuilding to the Tweed Mill.

Our kitchen has a log burner so you can unwind in a cozy atmosphere. This cottage has a private entrance and each room has a beautiful aspect overlooking the countryside. And you could choose to dine in our restaurant. Please check opening times as we do not open every day. Booking is also advisable.

The hills in the distance are the Nine Nicks of Thirlwall along the ridge of which runs Hadrian's Wall. The cottage is within 50m of the line of the wall and the National Trail. It sits on the edge of the village, in a very tranquil location being the last property on a very quiet lane.
