Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

Your stay also includes a private dam and picnic area to relax at. We are neighbours to Theewater Sports Club where one can sail, swim, fish and boat and close by are mountain biking/ 4x4 trails and restaurants. We are 2kms from Villiersdorp and a short drive accesses all surrounding towns. Late check-out on request

New Beginnings Cottage

Surrounded by mountains boasting a picturesque garden and farm dam view, New Beginnings Cottage is situated on Toddle Inn Farm, 21kms (10kms on gravel) outside the historic town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It is private and mostly quiet and peaceful, however, it is situated in a working farm area. It is pet friendly by arrangement and is mostly fenced off but is open to the farm dam at the bottom so is not 100% foolproof.

Mountain Spring self-catering cottage consists of an open plan kitchen and living area, with a comfortable double sleeper couch. For rainy days in winter, there is a fireplace in the living area. The spacious porch with built in braai area has a spectacular view of the mountains. For the adventurous there is an outside bath tucked away behind the rocks with hot water and breathtaking surroundings.
