Buffalo Range, a "destination" Airbnb, is a working ranch nine miles south of Monument, Kansas. The surrounding open prairie has never felt a plow; horses and cattle occupy the pastures most of the year; native grasses, wildflowers, cacti, and succulents surround the homestead. We say we are "half way to everywhere in the middle of nowhere" because we're central to an amazing number of historic, geologic, recreational, photographic, and hunting sites. It will take you several days to see it all!

Welcome to my cute little Kansas getaway. This home will keep you comfortable while visiting the very special town of St. Francis. It has a very comfortable living room, a bedroom with a queen bed and large closet, a nice little updated kitchen, and a full bathroom on the main floor. A 2nd bedroom with 2 full size beds and a washer/dryer are on the lower level. This home is only one block away from Main Street shopping, coffee, dining, a movie theatre, and a world-class Motorcycle museum.

1879 Kansas Pacific RR House

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This historic 1879 Kansas Pacific Railroad House was initially built for the Superintendent, for this section of the railroad, to live in. It was and still is perfectly located facing the railroad tracks. If you are a train enthusiast you will love it here. This house boasts remnants from the past and is decorated in the 1950’s style. There are 5 bedrooms, 1 bath, primitive kitchen, lovely living room and dining room.

The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.
