The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Scandinavian Escape

When palm springs meets a peaceful lush secluded forest - welcome to our Scandinavian escape. This private hotel style suite has its own separate entrance, patio and is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while only being 12 minutes from Osoyoos & 30 minutes from Mt. Baldie ski resort. Step back in time with the mid century decor but enjoy the luxury of a rainfall walk in shower, workspace and mini kitchen to prep any meal.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
