The Old Chapel is tucked away in the small Dales village of Buckden for an incredibly peaceful holiday in a converted Wesleyan Chapel. It is ideally placed for exploring the local area on foot or bike. There are 4 pubs that serve food within a 2 mile radius with one a 2 minute walk away. Upper Wharfedale can be explored from the doorstep with easy riverside walks or more strenuous hikes up into the mountains. A short drive away are the villages of Kettlewell, Grassington, Skipton, Hawes & Settle

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Energy Increase from Nov22 Unfortunately due to the huge increase in utilities I have to request an additional payment of £10 per day. Happy for guests to pay on arrival as I don’t feel Airbnb should be adding charges to what is an energy increase. Longer bookings preferred July and August.
