Here a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental and historical features.

The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Litoria is a pavilion home tucked against reserve, about 150m from the beach. You’ll love Litoria’s breezeway and living pod that opens to capture the sea breezes. With 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a fully fenced yard, Litoria provides the perfect getaway for couples or small families (including the furry kind). The apartment is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has everything you should need for a very comfortable stay with dedicated under cover parking and access so you won't be getting wet if it is raining. Enjoy watching the butterflies and birds in the garden from the verandah. .

Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Bingil Bay Getaway

Adjoined by rainforest, our place is handily positioned between beautiful Bingil Bay Beach (200m) and the wonderful Bingil Bay Café (200m). The accommodation is the bottom part of a large Queenslander house with access to the pool and extensive gardens. With its own access and carport you are completely self sufficient but we are available to lend you bicycles or point you to the walking tracks. Be active or do nothing, we are private but not remote.

Just a 100 meter stroll to beautiful South Mission Beach and close access to coastal walking tracks and rainforest trails. Our simple, comfy retro shack has everything you need for a chilled out beachside stay. You can even bring your boat, there's plenty of room for a boat trailer on our block and river and beach boat ramps close by.

Spectacular walking beach just 50 metres from the front of the house and a short stroll to the Kennedy walking track to Tam O'Shanter Point and Kennedy Bay. A well appointed house with all the ammenities needed for a relaxing holiday.
