Cae Adda cottage is cosy and warm

Our cottage has a wood burning stove, which keeps you cosy on winter evenings. Situated right by Trawsfynydd lake, with amazing views. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the perfect spot for you. Sorry no pets. And no swimming or inflatables allowed on Trawsfynydd lake as it’s primarily a fishing lake. Great cycle and footpath round the lake for any one wanting to get out. We are situated inside the snowdonia national park so plenty of places to visit close by.

Isfryn is a cosy semi detached former slate miners cottage, located on the edge of Corris. Corris is a small rural village with a village shop, cafe, pub and church. The cottage is traditionally furnished with wooden floors and beams, log burners in the sitting room and kitchen. Outside to the front is a raised sitting area with wonderful views over the Dulas Valley. To the rear is a small yard and to the side a log and bike shed. Travel cot, high chair, baby bath and fire guard are available.

We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. Our gorgeous dog friendly bed cottage (formally the village wash house) has been sympathetically restored (summer 2021) and is ready to welcome guests. With your private patio to sit out on and enjoy the views of the Dyfi Forest and all that the area has to offer it's an easy choice to make! Sorry but we only accept kids over the age of 12 at Ty Golchi.
