Comfort's key in this 1 bedroom barn apartment + full kitchen and bath. Pets welcome. Our 1834 farmhouse is close by. We welcome all respectful guests. We have two cats with no access to rented space. We also host a 2nd larger space - Sweet Circa 1830 Farmhouse Apt. Local art and music, 20 minutes to Parkway and Blowing Rock, 40 to AppState and Boone. Great hiking, biking, and wild and scenic Wilson's Creek close by. During busy seasons, we prefer to book two nights, especially on weekends.

In the middle of the woods. Far from the sounds of civilization and light pollution, in the beautiful blue ridge mountains. 35 minutes from ASU. One master bedroom and one loft bedroom with 2 full baths. Outside fire pit and indoor wood stove (we provide firewood 🪵) Central A/C (window unit supplements the central a/c in the upstairs portion of the house) and gas heat. Large covered porches on the front and back of the house, back porch is screened in with outdoor dining area.

Located 9 miles from Blowing Rock Village, 6 miles from Grandfather Mtn and 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wildberry Cottage is situated on three acres bordering the Nat’l Forest. There is a gorgeous view from the deck where visitors are welcome to relax. The guest space is a suite (entire floor) with two br (1 full, 1 twin), a kitchenette (in single room) and a full bath. Parking at top of paved drive may be necessary for rear-wheel drive cars during inclement weather.
