Bring your ATV's as you can ride them from the property directly to the trails, no trailering required! Minutes to Royal Blue and Tackett Creek trail heads and Lake Norris boat ramp. Stop at the gas station to fill up and grab snacks and ice, have breakfast at the Diner, and then head to the trails. After a days ride stop for dinner in town. Welcome to our peaceful and family-friendly farmhouse cottage with 2 bedrooms 1.5 baths, located in a quiet private location just minutes away from interstate 75 Jellico exit and a short drive to many ATV trails like Royal Blue and others. For your convenience there is a circle drive easily accessible for those pulling trailers. We have lots of room to unload ATVS and trailer/ truck parking. We are located 42 miles to The University of Tennessee, and many other points of interest in Knoxville.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful farm. Relax at this charming and newly renovated open concept lower level hide-away. This apartment has a private driveway, entrance and patio space on a hilltop with an unbelievable view of the mountains and spectacular sunsets. This is a perfect home base for near by state and national parks. Please note that there are friendly, outdoor dogs on this farmland property. Indoor stair access to main house is securely locked. The Ambleside Cottage offers full privacy for a single or a couple looking for a serene getaway surrounded by the beauty of the Appalachian mountains. This magical cabin is conveniently located for travelers, yet Ambleside feel like a remote retreat nestled in the woods above Elk Fork Creek. The Cottage is an adorable tiny house, offering 500 square feet of living space with a kitchenette, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower. The queen-size bed is upstairs in the sleeping loft.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.

Deemed a Retirement home for Horses and cows, you can spend your evenings watching Ruby, Maddy, Star, Mountain girl and all the other wonderful animals we have roaming the 13 acres behind the house. Of course they are all friendly and appreciate any and all attention!
