This cabin is located just off of the banks of the Cape Fear River. It overlooks our family's 147 acre private fishing pond known as Greene's Pond. This location is the best kept secret in North Carolina. We have a variety of cabin types located on the property as well as an RV park. During your stay you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, walking trails & the best views. Welcome to the Rustic loft. This property offers a stunning 1200 sq ft covered deck designed to merge the indoors with the outdoors seamlessly. The deck features a glass garage door that can be opened to let in the breeze & natural light allowing guests to enjoy the picturesque views of the pond. Inside you'll find a well-appointed one-bedroom space offering a peaceful retreat, & the living area provides a cozy spot to relax after a day of enjoying all that Raleigh has to offer. Pet fee $100.

The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.
