We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Welcome to my luxurious self-catering apartment at Draíocht na Mara, where comfort meets breathtaking ocean vistas for an unforgettable retreat. I call the apartment 'An Tearmann', which means the sanctuary. Step into a spacious haven designed to cater to your every need. Sink into the plush embrace of a king-sized bed after a day of exploration, enveloped in the tranquility of your private sanctuary. Freshen up in the modern en suite bathroom, complete with towels and a rejuvenating shower.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. 2 person per cabin only.

Cluain Woodland Yurt

Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful space with trees and a small forest. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Inside the yurt, you will sleep in comfortable double bed with a warm duvet and a cozy stove. (Please note, this is not a party venue)

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Escape to Fuchsia Lane Farm, a peaceful retreat near Terryglass and Lough Derg. Stay in charming cottages surrounded by nature, with woodland walks, bikes, and our private sauna. Enjoy local produce, the creative Haybarn Hub, and our regenerative tourism ethos. Private, calm, and close to lakeside trails and cosy pubs -the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and unwind. For the 2026 season we have a brand new Pickleball court! We supply paddles and balls.

Bellefield House and Gardens

Bellefield House and Gardens is a unique home, situated in the heart of Ireland. Lovingly and tastefully restored by its former owner the renowned architect and garden designer Angela Jupe. Both house and gardens have been carefully upgraded while retaining their period charm. The house is situated down a private drive and guests will have exclusive access to the 2 acre walled garden and be able to stroll the 20 acres of grounds that surround the house.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
