Built in 2024, the Shenandoah Cottage at Mattaponi Springs sits above the wedding venue and just next door to the golf course. Each king bedroom has its own private bathroom. The common area has a pullout sofa for extra guests, a full kitchen, and dining table. Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this is your refuge from the workweek. Welcome to Windy Hill Farm. Ever wanted to stay on a farm? Well look no more. This 1900's farmhouse has been totally renovated. Situated on 90 acres this home offers a relaxing and peaceful get away. Enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings on the covered porch overlooking the pond, pastures, grazing cattle and a donkey. Planting and harvesting seasons will give you the real feeling of living on a farm. Conveniently located in between Richmond and Fredericksburg Bedrooms are on 2nd floor.

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.
