Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking.
