With shops, cafes, pubs and bus stops on your doorstep – and Charmouth’s famous fossil beach a 10 minute walk away – it’s the perfect base for exploring this beautiful stretch of Dorset. Whether you’re walking the South West Coast Path, visiting Lyme Regis (10 minutes by car), having a beach holiday, or simply unwinding by the sea, this cottage makes the ideal seaside escape.

Totally self-contained, secluded, and away from the coastal crowds, but just 10 mins Bridport & beach. Attention to every detail to give you everything you want, but nothing you don't need.

Broadlands ground floor self catering apartment, located in the village of Charmouth. Park your car, and you can walk on the level to beach, local amenities, cafes, pubs and shops. Approx one hundred metres from UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘The Jurassic Coast’ and its famous fossil beaches. Broadlands is an ideal base to enjoy the beach and the beautiful countryside of West Dorset. Walk along the coast to Lyme Regis or inland along the river Char and into the beautiful hills of Dorset.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The reading room....the perfect getaway for 2

The Reading Room is a separate annex of The Old Chapel in the main High Street in Charmouth. It's within 60 steps to the High St. Charmouth Beach is approx 5 minutes stroll. A unique space with a huge vaulted ceiling spacious kitchen, dining/ living area, modern integrated appliances and a beautiful oak floor. It has parking for one vehicle and a small outdoor space to the side of the Chapel with blue table and chairs for 2 people. Be aware steps to the bed platform are steep.

It is a quiet retreat, ideally located in the centre of the village, within walking distance of local amenities and the beach but set back from the road, off the beaten track.

It's an ideal retreat, or a base for a walking holiday or for a few days pause on a longer walk.
