Relax with the whole family at this peaceful wooded retreat! This spacious 2-story 3-bedroom house is on a quiet lane with plenty of space from our neighbors. If you love seeing wildlife, deer and turkeys are a regular sight as well as the occasional fox and black bear. If you have pets, there is plenty of space for them to run around! Well-stocked kitchen! Pets and larger groups are welcome! There is a $10/guest/day charge after the first 2 guests and the pet fee is $25 (flat rate).

The Blue Cottage

Remodeled 2nd floor of Country Cottage on the edge of town. Private entrance, 1 bedroom w/ Queen bed, eat in kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and use of outdoor firepit. Walking distance to Ghost Town Trail, Memorial Park, Ebensburg town square, community swimming pool, Legends Gym, Nathan's Divide Water Shed and Lake Rowena Park. Area colleges include, Saint Francis Univ, Mount Aloysius College, Univ of Pittsburgh Johnstown, Indiana Univ of Pa, Penn State Univ, and Penn State Altoona.

Orchard Guesthouse

Private, cozy cottage with lots of extras. Wake up after a comfortable night's sleep to a breakfast of eggs from our chickens, prepared in a well-appointed kitchen. Kitchen, bath & bedroom refreshed in 2026. After a day of sightseeing relax on the patio with a glass of wine & dinner prepared on the grill. We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home.
