This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a Ranger Retreat /Fire Tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting, hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

Authentic log cabin tucked into Black Mountain near the attractions. Peaceful and quiet location close to Chimney Rock (15mins) and Downtown Black Mountain (25mins). *The road is open to locals. The Main House, at Mountain Breeze Cabins is Pet Friendly and was designed and hand crafted by your host as a retirement home. From your entry into the Kitchen/Living area you see that the house is full of yellow pine paneling, oak floors, a stone hearth, granite countertops and tile. This design is throughout the cabin and is enhanced with a unique art collection. We show 2 adults as Maximum occupancy ,we welcome children at no additional cost. A Pack n Play and a futon are at the house.

After Hurricane Helene swept through and left the area devastated, we’ve worked hard to rebuild our Riverfront Cottage-a cozy, updated retreat just minutes from Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and Asheville. While the backyard and deck were damaged, they’ve been lovingly restored, and the home is ready once again to welcome guests. Nestled beside a rushing river, this peaceful cabin sleeps four and offers the perfect place to relax, recharge, and support a community rising again.
