Te Mahuru Retreat is made up of a lodge with four single suites and one two-bedroom suite. Each suite has its own private bathroom, mountain views and private garden access. Each of the suites share a full kitchen, living room and dinning room in the lodge and BBQ and entertaining area. Great walks, Biking, mountain bike Park at Middle Hill, Raft the Clarence River, fish at the river mouth, swim or surf on the coast, 20 minutes to The Store at Kekerengu, or the numerous cafes in Kaikoura. View the seals at colony 10 minutes down the coast...Or you can sit back and read a book and listen to the birds.

This 1960s A Frame house and is the original site of the Hanmer Pottery. The house has a refurbished kitchen and bathroom and is an attached house with your own space and fenced yard. Upstairs Queen room looks towards the Lewis Pass.The other is to the main road arriving in Hanmer Springs. If you are looking for something a little different Pottery Corner is just that. On arrival you may hear our wee pooches greeting you over the fence.
