Or stay in, put on some music, and relax on the verandah while kookaburras, parrots, echidnas and wombats wander by. Right next door to Avalon Castle and an easy walk to Chae. Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Emerald is a beautiful scenic town popular for its picturesque lake and parks and Puffing Billy. Nestled in between the quaint towns of Cockatoo and Belgrave, Emerald is a frequently visited town among tourists to the Dandenong Ranges region. Whispering Trees is a beautiful modern bungalow on our 1 acre property which is completely separate from the main house and within walking distance to the township. We think our bungalow is best suited for couples and solo adventurers and small families.

Emerald Lake Loft is a relaxing 1 bedroom (King Bed) guesthouse, 700m from Emerald Lake Park, Puffing Billy, cafes/restaurants & all stunning Emerald has to offer. We offer an onsite massage experience (extra) if interested by a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and use of our Wellness Space (extra) inc. HotTub, Sauna, Outdoor Shower & Ice Bath. Once you book the space it won't be shared with anyone else. It's a kitchenette not a full kitchen, being a loft there's stairs to the guesthouse.

The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

This cosy self contained apartment is located just 5 minutes by car from the iconic 1000 stairs and just a 15 minute walk to ferntree gully train station. New listing with tv, heating and wifi. On street parking. Please note unfortunately we couldn't get more ceiling clearance when we renovated so if you are over 195cms tall this might not be the ideal place for you. This private and cosy space is a newly renovated free standing guesthouse in the heart of Monbulk. Just a few minute walk to the shops in town you have everything from cafes and restaurants to Aldi or Woolworths. The space is perfect for one or two people and close to public transport and local wedding venues in the local area. Breakfast supplies are provided such as granola, milk, yoghurts, butter , bread , tea and coffee. Make yourself feel at home and relax in this cozy space.

Small paddock beside bus for your horse. Ride through to Chambers Reserve and the many horse trails. Enjoy farm life, complete with baby wombats to feed. Every cent of funds go to the wildlife Shelter. Peaceful bush surrounds, perfect for artists, nature lovers, and good old relaxing.

Our 1959 vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.
