On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. The Farm at Stillwater Sanctuary is a beautiful space, with five horses and a mule, farm dogs, chickens and ducks with farm fresh eggs when available upon arrival, a fire pit, hiking trails and a pond to swim in on hot summer days. It is only a 77 mile drive to Asheville, NC and only 32 miles to Hot Springs, NC. The cottage features an amazing view of the creek that you can enjoy both from inside the sunroom or on the deck. You will need items such as sleeping bags, lanterns, fire cooking items etc.
