Stell SWIMMING POOL, 3 meters in diameter, in the garden of the house. Located in a village between the towns "Santiago da Guarda" and "Ansião". At a 40min drive from Coimbra, 50min from Fátima and 20min from Pombal. Closest beach: "Praia do Osso da Baleia", 50min. Artificial beach: "Praia das Rocas", 30min. We have WIFI and TV.

Paradise with rustic rooms in natural valley

Enjoy one of our 3 lovely guest rooms amidst nature: double bed, total relaxation, digital detox, great organic food, stunning nature, hiking, reading, eating, drinking.... In winter it is advised to make reservations at least two days ahead, there is no central heating, so give us some time to fire up the rocket stove mass heater and make sure it is comfortable when you arrive! If you want you can order breakfast (extra cost), lunch or dinner (make reservations before!). No communal kitchen!

Therefor this room is ideal for 2 who need space or 3 who like to share space. A cosy atmosphere is created thanks to the use of cork/wooden walls and wooden furniture. A 4K smart TV with high speed internet connection and free WiFi everywhere gives you all the connectivity you are looking for.

Vila Julieta is a carefully century-old refurbished house maintaining its ancient charm inside and out whilst our guests can benefit of contemporary comfort. If you feel like it, you can have your breakfast in our front garden in between orange trees and lots of lovely smelling plants. After a long day of sightseeing and walking around the city you can also lie down in the shade of our walnut-tree in the backyard.

A year after getting married in Portugal we managed to acquire Vila Julieta as a ruin to make our common dream reality, turn it into a Guesthouse. Making our guests feel at home and spoiling them with our delicious breakfast of fresh, seasonal and local produce is what we love to do.
