The bedroom has a queen bed, gas stove, and balcony. The luxurious bathroom boasts a claw foot tub. Inn Suite #8 sleeps up to 5 people (2 on the futon, 1 child on window seat).

This authentic timber-frame chalet has been renovated to retain its original charm of a bygone era, while updated with modern amenities. It offers a spacious layout and large picture windows to sit and watch the Big Lake. Guests must sign a rental agreement to complete the reservation.

The Barn at Poplar is located 40 minutes from Grand Marais, just off the Gunflint Trail on beautiful Poplar Lake! You can either enjoy the lake from the deck, screen porch or take the gentle slope down to the dock for easy access to fishing, swimming, or canoeing. The cabin includes four bedrooms, two baths and a fully-equipped kitchen with brand-new appliances. We have a canoe for guest use and there is a public access nearby if you want to bring your own boat.
