Heir Island is one of Ireland's smallest inhabited islands. The island is only accessible by boat or ferry, cost is €6 return for adults and the ferry runs every 2 hours in the summer from Cunnamore Pier. This beautiful wooden house is located 2kms from Ballydehob village in the countryside. It is in a private and secluded area offering lovely peaceful walks along the river bank and over the hills. The house was built by Liam with the environment in mind and boasts a compost toilet. This is simple and easy to use. and cleaned everyday. Electric is provided partly by wind turbine, the house is colourful and quite unique.Visit and enjoy.
