The Old Goat Shed

The Old Goat Shed is exactly as the title says , situated on our small 30 acre goat farm , from where my wife produces goat milk soap and hand made candles. Situated 10 kilometres from Donegal Town looking down onto Donegal Bay and across to Sligo. The area is ideal for walking, cycling or as a base to discover the numerous sites of outstanding beauty County Donegal has on offer as well as our County town 10 minutes away , or if you want to chill out and relax with the fire on that’s no bother

An Teach Beag Glencolmcille, little home from home

2 miles to Cashel, Glencolmcille village (pubs, shop, takeaway, trad music). Sliabh Liag cliffs 15 minutes away. 5 minute drive or 50 minute walk to Glen Beach. Visit Folk Village, Oideas Gael for Irish language, hill walking or just relax! Beautiful scenery, lovely beaches. Wee House has oil-fired heating, satellite TV, books, garden space and board games available. A place to escape from the hustle & bustle. Mobile phone signal is limited due to hills. Donegal Mountain Lodge

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

Countryside cottage two miles from Doochary a quiet village in West Donegal surrounded by rugged mountains and lovely glens with gweebarra river nearby. Ideal location for touring close to glenveagh national park and derryveagh mountains. 25 minutes drive to Gartan outdoor centre where there are lots of activities kayaking ,canoeing etc.Very popular area for fishing and hillwalking.
