Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Mountain Hideaway with Cave Bar & Hot Tub

Nestled within the Slievenamon mountains, this cosy countryside apartment offers the perfect escape with your own private hot tub (available for €30 per night- payable on arrival. Please provide 24 hours’ notice if you would like to use) fire pit, or spend the evening in our cave bar. The apartment follows a traditional layout featuring an open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting area, and bedroom with a double bed. There is also a small separate room with a single bed.

Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

It is the ideal place to relax with a book and enjoy the many small birds and wild plants that share the space. It is a great base for walkers and cyclists to explore the surrounding pretty villages and beyond. What better way to spend an evening than to cook in the out door kitchen and dine under the stars.

This beautifully restored detached former village School dates back to 1895 and offers a unique & interesting base from which to enjoy the stunning countryside in the South East of Ireland. Oozing character & charm inside, whilst the terraced gardens & seating areas boast stunning panoramic views. The Cottage lies 10mins drive to the Waterford/Dublin Motorway. Guilcagh Church is approached up a long avenue of mature lime trees. Enter into a different world through the iron gated double doors where surprises lurk around every corner. This property is on an old graveyard and there are headstones visible around the property.
