The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Situated beside the shores of the Cromarty Firth with spectacular views to the Black Isle our cottage sleeps six comfortably, and is ideally placed for touring, with access to superb beaches, forests, hill walking, golf, etc. The NC 500 route is minutes away. One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

Unwind in this lovely stone-built salmon fishing bothy, close to the NC500, Nigg and the Orkney Ferry route, insulated to the modern spec, with traditional stone and vaulted ceilings. Close to Balintore harbour and Shandwick Bay, the restored airy cottage benefits from a sheltered yard, from which you can base your North Highland explorations, go for lovely coastal walks and interact with the locals. 2 minutes from the local shop, the garden area feels peaceful and secluded.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. Clematis Cottage, Fortrose

Clematis Cottage is ideal for visits to Fortrose, the Black Isle and a good base for Inverness which is just 15mins drive away. It offers comfort, peace and quiet in a newly renovated character cottage with log burner and private garden less than 200m from the beach and harbour, centrally located with restaurants, bars, shops and cafes just a short walk away. Close to the golf course, Chanonry Point, beach, harbour and other tourist attractions.
