Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

The Lighthouse at 113 Albury Street is situated in the main street of Holbrook close to shops and eateries and 35mins to Albury. A unique stay in that it is an original residence totally renovated to suit the needs of our guests. Building erected around 1905 of timber construction for the purpose of a jewellery store, funeral directors and nursery. It was not lived in for around 10yrs. We were lucky enough to purchase the property in 2017............... The upstairs bedroom is a mezzanine floor.

If you just want a break there are wide open spaces for walking, and quiet roads for cycling. Otherwise relax on the deck or under the trees with a glass of wine, watching the animals, or the sun setting over the hills. The property is about 1 hour from Albury, Wagga Wagga, the Hume Weir and numerous wineries, and 3 hours to Victorian and NSW snowfields.

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.
