Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. Bwthyn Bach (little cottage) is our beautiful, self-contained studio, boasting incredible sunset views of the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan from your bedside. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited.

Travel cot available by request. Parking on site. Towels and bed linen provided. Situated just off the A468, very convenient but some noise from the road.
