Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

Cozy Carriage House in Starland District

This charming 1 bedroom carriage house is located in the Starland District of Savannah. It is centrally located within very close walking distance to many of attractions and great restaurants such as galleries, Starland Yard, Starland Cafe, Two Tides Brewery, Back in the Day Bakery, The Wormhole, etc. The Starland District provides unique Savannah charm with its eclectic stores, delicious eats, and enchanting atmosphere. It is just a short Uber ride (~8-10 min) to the downtown area.

Half House Savannah

Laid back guest house located close to the marsh and 15 minutes south of the Historic District. Quiet locale with private entrance, large yard and small but cozy interior that includes a queen bed, desk and kitchenette area. Nestled under a grand live oak, the Half House is home to many birds and a barred owl that often takes residence upon the branches. Laundry avail too. Lovely Loft in Starland with Private Entrance

This vacation studio was a labor of love -- I wanted to create a truly unique, comfy, open space, with a cool, eclectic vibe. We built a new bathroom and private entrance, with ceilings bumped up to the roof. We more recently added a small deck outside the guests' door, and created a funky garden/sitting area as well. This quiet, peaceful place it away from the hustle and bustle with the convenience of getting there easily. le petit chalet has its own private entrance and is completely separate from the main house.
