The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Private apartment in modern farmhouse

Relax in a modern home on our 20 hectare (50 acre) working farm just a few miles south of the Edinburgh city bypass. The apartment includes 3 rooms with a private external entrance and a locked internal door if needed. The single bedroom is ensuite; the other main room is a living space with a kitchenette and large sofa bed. We are close to the route south / north too and from Edinburgh but far enough away (1.5km) to not get interrupted by road / traffic noise.

The Bonnie Hive

The Bonnie Hive is a cosy garden cabin, tucked in a peaceful spot just a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh city centre. Around 30/40 on a bus. A comfy double sofa bed, modern ensuite, kitchenette, and Wi-Fi, it’s the perfect base for a relaxing getaway. Nearby, you’ll find Dalkeith Country Park (just 0.8 miles away) for scenic walks and adventure, plus Portobello Beach (5.4 miles), perfect for a seaside escape. Perfect 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Home

Portobello Beach is 15 minute walk away which is a must see especially with kids they will love it in all weathers. Buses (every 10 minutes) stop at end of the street to city centre which takes about 15/20 minutes. Co-op, post office, and various takeaways at end of street. Travel cot available if needed NO parties we will be contacted to deal with any noise at the property as we only live a few minutes away. Ring doorbell has been set up to monitor this.
